How to Donate Technology to Schools through StRUT

        

1.	For "larger" donations, StRUT will arrange for transportation. “Larger” is defined as more than can fit into a van or pickup truck. Call 408-748-0927 to make arrangements.
2.	Standard car/van loads can be dropped off at the StRUT Center. Call 408-748-0927 to schedule a drop off.

Donation Process

Step 1.   First Check Usable Computer Requirements under Donations Menu 

Step 2.  Contact STRUT @ 408-748-0927

Step 3.  Tell us what  your  company/you would like to donate:

• Desktop computers
• Laptop computers
• Monitor
• Keyboard
• Mice
• Printers
• Hardware Components  (including memory  modules)
• Other Items (cables, software, audio speakers, laptop accessories, etc)

Step 4.  If  Step 3 meets the STRUT usable requirements for schools, then schedule a drop-off or pickup.  We can also come to your site to audit the potential donation if necessary..  If Step 3 does not meet the STRUT requirements, call our donation partner listed below:

For individual donation, you will receive a donation receipt at the time of pick up or drop off. For a company donation, a confirmation letter of donation will be mailed to your location with the following information:  Classification of technology  Quantity of technology  StRUT non-profit government organization federal ID number  Signature authority
