There are lots of resources available on the Web when searching for the topic: computer technology. The amount of information to read is ernormous and overwhelming. The information can get very technical for the average user - such as teachers. Teachers in general have too much to do with classroom instructions, classroom managment, quiz and test preparation, academic standards, testing standards, etc. There is not enough time for teachers to become computer literate in using software applications efficiently and understand the internal workings of a typical computer. Even buying a computer can be overwhelming with what is available in the market today. Hopefully we can help you here and make it easier to make that purchase, to upgrade an older computer, or even to fix some basic computer problems. There are many topics that can be written here but we start with the most basic one: purchasing or upgrading a computer. Select this topic on the menu option. Check out the other topic areas you may be interested in. Please note that the information I have written up are based on my experiences working on computers in many classrooms the past last 10+ years. I have tried to give you the most accurate information to guide you in the proper direction. In the future, there may be subtle changes to the information if it needs to be updated.
