Any laptop(s) or computer(s) that does not meet the STRUT minimum requirements usable for schools can be recycled through our donation partner: Auction BDI.  The phone number is 408-955-7900.  If the company representative asks how you heard of them, just mention STRUT.  We would appreciate it greatly.

Auction BDI will also accept the following that may not be usable by STRUT member schools:

  • Almost any type of office equipment or furniture such copiers, phones, tables, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, laser printers, dot matrix printers, etc.
  • Old computers/laptops:  Pentium IIs or AMD CPU
  • Old hardware components:  graphics cards, network cards, controller cards, modem cards, CPUs, memory modules, hard drives
  • Old networking equipments:  routers, switches, hubs
  • Old modem devices:   dial-up, DSL, cable
  • Old external devices:   CDROM reader, CDRW writers, USB hard drives
  • Old monitors or LCDs
  • Power bars, surge protectors, power cords
  • Cables of all types:  coaxial, networking, parallel, serial, video, audio, phone
