To initiate the StRUT recycling system:
1. An industry donation partner calls the Silicon Valley StRUT Alliance Office -408-748-0927.
2. StRUT will arrange for a transportation partner and staff to pick up the donation.
3. The donation will be delivered to either a StRUT center for preparation and redistribution or a
    StRUT affiliated center for either preparation for relocation or auctioning.
4. Receipts are given at pickup and a donation receipt with documentation will be mailed.
5. The technology will eventually becomes e-waste and be recycled for materials reclamation.

There are many ways to become involved with StRUT, as a School Alliance Member, a Donor of technology equipment, a Sponsor to advise us, help with funding, professional development and training, or an Affiliate recycler organization.

StRUT holds monthly meetings, on the last Monday of each month, to update members on activities and to offer time for members to share and learn from each other regarding their respective goals and programs. We also provide inservice training opportunities and an annual StRUT student competition in the late spring.
